Hi!

Welcome to my site documenting my computer algorithm rankings/ratings of teams across various sports. Right now I have College Football, College Basketball, NFL, NHL, and NBA. I am working on a setup where the rankings across each sport update automatically. Currently, that should be true of the NFL, NBA, and NHL.

NFL, NBA, and NHL results update the morning after games are played in the respective leagues. Most of the time, I am able to update College Football on Sunday mornings (US Central Time).

My interest in sports data science and computer algorithms really started during the summer of 2018, when, in my free time, I produced an algorithm to rank all 130 College Football FBS teams. I tested this algorithm using the entirety of the 2017 college football season, and tweaked during the live 2018 season to achieve more accurate results.

This site is currently a work in progress. I am migrating from my former wordpress site to GitHub due to the easier long-term maintenance. In the process, I am tweaking some algorithms and adding additional sports and leagues.
